QUOTE(mustnap @ Jun 6 2016, 06:27 AM) To me, if you want to use the car for yourself, go for it. It tends to be cheaper BUT you need to have lots of cash (1. buy the car, 2. buy insurance, 3. ship the car, 4. pay the import tax LUMP SUM). But if you want to sell it, you have to know personal AP means you cannot change the title and have to wait 2 years AFTER you register the car in Malaysia. Then you have to know that those cars might be older than 10 years old, means it will be hard for banks to give out loans for cars that old. So you need to find cash buyer. My sis will be going UK. Just that I am wondering can the car ship back halfway when she doing her studies? Just after 9 months after she own the car. Any advise or guidance?

QUOTE(BeastX @ Jun 10 2016, 10:40 AM) Nope .... to qualify for the AP... you'll have to show evidence that you had/are returning to Malaysia... OMG...then have to wait for 5 year but she was sponsor by Bank Negara and have contract which must back to Malaysia after her study done. wonder can get it earlier or not
