QUOTE(BeastX @ Jan 26 2009, 10:58 PM) 13 years depreciation is comes to roughly 12.91% of the car value left. Lets say the car value is RM65k* in 1996... in 2009, it depreciated to 8.4k (FOB), CIF is roughly RM 9.7k, effective tax is 150.25% ..... so your tax should be at RM14.57k *The big if on the car value (a Subaru WRX or Evo??)... cooolll..plus cargo n everything..think that still within budget :-P n cheaper than buying 2nd here..hehehe.. well..wanted to get impreza sti but couldnt effort 2 buy so, evo is my only option left.like the old evo but dislike the new new evo n vice versa for the impreza :-) but wat ever it is,thankx for your help, glad that u could help me wif the calculation :-)
