malaysia shouldn't protect their local cars. Look at Myvvi for instance? Does it look like a car that cost 50,000? I think if you put this car in international market people would rather chip more for a used mini cooper (new version).

If the government did not protect the local car market I think that proton would be forced to improve their cars due to competitors and this would be a very good option. Look at now and the future? Proton is still selling new cars the age of mine, this really upsets me.

And for what I think Perdana V6 should just be priced less then rm40k. The CRV high spec in the USA is just about $25k USD which after conversion is less then a new perdana. And not to forget the CRV is a jap car not local there.

Unlikely they will ever get their citizenships unless they covert to Muslim. There are so many stories that foreign citizens try so hard to get their PR here.
