QUOTE In Malaysia, several prominent local platforms and government-linked services have begun adopting passkeys to replace traditional passwords. Local Malaysian Platforms Touch 'n Go (TNG) eWallet: One of the first major fintech players in Malaysia to implement passkey-based authentication for enhanced security. SigningCloud: A Malaysian digital signature platform that uses passkeys for secure, legally binding document signing in compliance with the Digital Signature Act 1997. Luno Malaysia: The cryptocurrency exchange supports passkeys for both signing in and authorizing crypto transactions for Malaysian verified accounts. MySejahtera: The national health app's login portal has integrated "Sign in with a passkey" options. Samsung Malaysia / Samsung Pass: Local users can manage and use passkeys through Samsung Pass for supported apps and websites. Popular Global Services in Malaysia Many international services widely used by Malaysians also support passkey logins: Tech Giants: Google, Microsoft, and Apple (iCloud). Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and WhatsApp. E-commerce & Travel: Amazon, Shopee (via Shopify integration), Uber, and KAYAK. Gaming: PlayStation Network (PSN), Nintendo, and Roblox. you may want to add passkey for more than 1 device. if you don't have access to 1 device, you then use the other as your backup to login. if can't, then use 1 passkey, then setup the standard username/password with 2fa enabled as your backup login in case you lost your passkey device. passkey is convenient, but it shouldn't be the sole login credential, in case you lost your device. QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Mar 4 2026, 09:56 AM) shopee got. i checked.go to shopee APP, then go to account & security. look at passkeys. click that then add. i donno about the website, but the app has it. also u get better deals when buying via the app, so i dont recommend doing ur shopee stuff from the browser QUOTE Using the Shopee app instead of the website is generally recommended for a more comprehensive and cost-effective shopping experience, as many of Shopee's core benefits are mobile-exclusive. 1. Exclusive Vouchers & Savings Mobile-Only Vouchers: Many high-value vouchers, including Cashback and specific Shopee Discount codes, can only be claimed and used within the app. Free Shipping: While some free shipping vouchers work on desktop, the most lucrative "No Min. Spend" or campaign-specific free shipping deals are often restricted to the app. Super Promotions: Exclusive deals like Super Seringgit (RM1), "Knockout Deals," and "Shocking Sales" are frequently app-only.
