Understanding the AT Light on Your Car Dashboard

The AT light, or Automatic Transmission light, is an important indicator on your car's dashboard. It signals issues related to the automatic transmission system.
What the AT Light Indicates

Transmission Problems: The AT light may illuminate if there is a malfunction in the automatic transmission. This could include issues with the transmission fluid, overheating, or internal component failures.

Fluid Levels: Low transmission fluid levels can trigger the AT light. It's essential to check the fluid level and top it off if necessary.

Overheating: If the transmission is overheating, the AT light will come on. This can happen due to excessive load, low fluid, or other mechanical issues.

What to Do When the AT Light is On

Check Fluid Levels: Inspect the transmission fluid level and condition. If it's low or dirty, consider changing it.

Pull Over Safely: If the light stays on or starts flashing, pull over and turn off the engine to prevent further damage.

Seek Professional Help: It's advisable to have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic as soon as possible to diagnose and fix the issue.

Those are what I get from AI response but there are short video about this on tik tok wahtever.

The problem can be just due to dirty sensor. I guess indication of overheat. They just take out the sensor and clean it and problem goes away.

Did you check the atf oil after the service? If the atf at the correct level should be fine

If the light no more i guess nothing to worry about but i do suspect the problem might be the automatic gearbox sensor
