QUOTE(jasontoh @ Nov 20 2007, 10:22 PM) Nope the price stands....but non-local will not be so affordable, since the govt will increase duty on the car 200% At that time Honda City RM150K++Need to work more harder / punt more harder / goreng more harder to buy foreign car.. All st*pid government policy. Else we can buy a City at much lower cost. |

QUOTE(sharesa @ Nov 20 2007, 10:12 PM) hnmm... yes & no. This is not applied for bull market or hot market, it is normally how market behave.Yes , I agree to what you have explained but I feel this applies in a hot and bull market. No , because I experienced with Sunrise 2 yrs ago, I bought @ 1.78 during market was slow at that time . Though they reported solid unbilled sales >500million which was to be reflected 1-2 yrs later, the share price moved only sideways! (so disappointed at that time). Then, 1 year later, they reported increase in net profits due to those sales reported earlier, share price bounced up & up,,.....well into today @3.30+. I believe market at that time skeptic about the Sunrise (I heard before but not paying attention much) 'unbilled sales' at that time, so market not convince about it until it realised it. 'Unbilled sales' always sound ambigious anyway. Having said so as previous post, Generally, normal market behaviour is difficult to apply on small cap stock or low liquidity stocks as their share price movement is difficult to judge based on market norm or fundamental that would normally be expected due to low liquidity issue. Every stocks has their individual issue and aspect to look at. What I said is not necesary 100% true or correct of the time, just try to give some broad sense of explaination of stock market behaviour and what to or should expect for. Cheers. |

QUOTE(sharesa @ Nov 20 2007, 10:29 PM) Honda is japanese car. so no doubt price is lower in their own countries.same as proton. Cost us around RM50K++ but only sad things is its quality is not as good as Honda or other japanese car. Back to shares, heard CNOOC will list its A-shares somewhere next year, mostly first quarter of 2008. Seem quite nice... And also it is proposing to buy other international company CNOOC is considering an about US$450m bid for Royal Dutch Shell's 16.67% stake in an Australian oil production project - Cossack Pioneer, which pumps 100,000 barrels a day from the fields in the NW Shelf region. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 20 2007, 10:33 PM) emm talking back about MAGNUM probably it will settle around Rm3.3x, as nobody want to buy at Rm3.45 either, who want to buy at Rm3.45 if someone is offering to take private for Rm3.45? you still need to pay transaction commission, bare in mind. (except the party to take it private one, MPHB)i dun see anyone holding MAGNUM ya, atleast not to my awareness so MAGNUM price will be adjusted to RM 3.45 on 22nd Nov, is this a fair price for MAGNUM by the way? Please bare with me, I have not gone through the Magnum announcement, so only know it will be taken private at offer price of Rm3.45, don't know include some special dividend or any capital repayment. If none or don't have other benefits, fair price for Magnum market price should be Rm3.3x to Rm3.42. Similar to Maxis case, privatisaion offer at Rm15.60 (if not mistaken), share price hovering at Rm15.30-15.50 This post has been edited by cherroy: Nov 20 2007, 10:43 PM |
