Why do we need such an option - Use HTTPS ?
Isn't everything already in HTTPS? Is there any difference if I don't check the box?

I haven't seen such option for any forums yet. Isn't HTTPS the standard?

this was an old setting from the original IPB, when https was still optional. https encryption is now automatically enforced across the site in line with industry standards and is no longer optional. we will be removing the option from the panel in our next update. Skylinestar liked this post
