May I ask, what are the differences between poly-16, poly-4, MMF (MA2) and MMF (MA3)? I mean in terms of sound quality, and technically how do people compose these ringtones?

Do they compose ringtones in only one format, and convert the file type? Or do they have to compose by starting from the scratch for the mentioned formats?
