I have been following this thread since the beginning in the hope that I'll get the phone once the price comes down a little. I'm particularly interested in the GPS functions and that's probably why I'll get this phone.

Just a suggestion ...

Why don't someone actually edit the first post to mention all the possible Maps that can be used and their reviews on how good they are (For Malaysia, Singapore and even international maps). Also, a list of all the good applications that we can use with this phone.

Just imagine, if I do (or anyone) get this phone - I have to browse through (it's now @ page 55) around 550 threads and this can be confusing as the info change over time. I'm not saying that I won't go through all that pages but it helps to make things a little bit simpler.

Nokia Maps sucks....if you don't pay, no navigation function, can consider the software worthless without navigation, try Garmin Mobile XT ahem version....smile.gif

waited more than half an hour... still bad. Does this GPS function based on the country of the handphone? e.g. spore set... malaysia set...

GPS is global, it will works in any country, maybe you switch off and on back the phone power and try again, under clear sky, very hard to lock on in cloudy condition.

Mine GPS works fine.... biggrin.gif
