I'm a newbie here.

I have the old N95 (silver color) and my firmware says :
V21.0.016
14-02-08
Nokia N95 (12.01)

Over the past 9 months, it's been switching off on its own once every few months.
Nowdays, it will switch off once every few weeks.
2 weeks ago, everytime it switch off or if I switch it off and switch it on again, it will ask me to key in the date and time again ie it's getting worse and worse.

Should I update the firmware again to solve this problem or is the newer N95 (black) more stable?

thanks qwe65! my regular handphone shop charge me RM100+ for a backup and firmware upgrade. is there anywhere on this forum where i can learn to do it myself?
