Hello all , a newbie here , bought N95 8GB on 8th of November at RM 2400 Comsat AP set.
Have one question here does your AP set come with Mandarin Language and Pinyin writing ? Because my set does not support Chinese !!!
The Dealer promise to get it installed on next week but any alternate way that i can done it online ?

The NCC in Berjaya only charged RM 30 for the software only? i mean with the chinese pinyin and key stroke input one ? if that's so then tomorrow i will be heading to there lorr...

you can use Total video Converter from EffectMatrix Inc to convert almost any sort of video files and even to extract out the audio .
By the way pigcat , the berjaya NCC you mention is the Berjaya opposite the Times Square one ar? which floor?

yes you can.. there are plenty choice converting into mpeg4 divx avi etc .. quite useful and small application.

but then it's free of charge , because all the expense are all paid by my dealer who sold me this phone. that's kind of him... haha , now has all the thing i need " chinese input " !!!!

i think this N95 8GB build alot better than my N95 ( using both N95 and N95 8GB )
Mine are the first batch N95 , perhaps this is the cause la.. because my slider are loose and when you slide down , you actually can press down around 1 mm !!
The N95 8GB slider are solid , so as the overall . well build indeed, but i get two set of this from AP also.. so nothing can complaint...

hmm... mine comsat AP , but the seller did told me that it warranty the LCD for 1 year and indeed it was printed on my warranty card too...

got a quest here. my current firmware is v 10 and i have not done my v11 update last time , but now i saw a few review on the latest v15 firmware update which is quite noticeable change on it.
the NSU detect my phone as v10 and the update was just v 11. izzit i have to update to v11 and then make a update again to v15 ? posibble if i update from v10 straight to v15 ?

Mine WAS Ap set and the firmware if not remembered wrong was same with you before i changed it at nokia centre. yeap.. so i have to go to nokia center again to flash my firmware.. but anyone who have idea that NCC will flash the v15 or again the v10 ?
Totally the chinese language gone and only left Filipino , Malay and English..
Somemore unable to detect the latest firmware now....

hmmm.. thanks for the solution and i also wonder why my phone back to the original state.
tomorrow will phone NCC again to double confirm as no need to make a few trip to get v15 done.
now my chinese word become square letter again...

ohhh... finally i can update to the v15 now... but the problem now is.. i dont have the chinese input anymore.. using the euro product code only i managed to get the update, and i checked with malaysia product code , there is no update available with it. i wan my chinese back.....

I flashed my babe with NSS to change the code to Euro1 0549487 and then my NSU detected the latest firmware is v15 ( i lose my chinese thought ) and i flash again my babe to Malaysia code 0555181 and use NSU to update again ( this time the NSU detect my phone as v15 and it ask if i want to reinstall the firmware update. ) Job done and i get back the chinese input

But this is my case of course , i saw pigcat and some others doesnt necessary to do so much, but my case is after firmware update for the second time, it has changed to Indonesia product code, dont ask me how i also dont know
