seems like the user for n95 8gb is increasing day by day..regret for bought n95 2 early..shuld have wait for tis babe..

Has anyone encounter the n95 8gb hangs when using the gps navigation? Yesterday nite, i try to my first time use the navigation everythings goes ok at first and then suddenly the n95 hangs when it start to rain. can't even off the phone. In the end, i have to take out the battery to off it and then on back the n95. Been twice hangs once i try to locate the gps position? Does it means better not to use gps when raining days?

Anyone of you found the matching pair of headphones for N95 8GB? I find that the Sony in earbud earphone (RM119 at SonyStyle KLCC) really match the sound, tight bass and just nice mid/high range. I wonder if there's any better one, I did try a RM399 earbud headphone but the sound is overkilling (too much bass that covered the rest) and will result ear fatigue very easily, much prefer the Sony headphone... Perhaps the headphone is more for a linear output device like ipoh or N81...

i don think it has any thing to do with the rainy day.... try update/reinstall the v15 firmware which is the latest one...

my friend is working in one big dealer company.So he can get this price for me....If u wan i can ask for the same price for who may interest to get this phone.Btw onli can be cod and a deposit required to order.Anyway this phone is great.I can do all my office work by using n95.

B4 i getting n95,i need to carry 2 phone, 02 atom n nokia 6110.I need to use atom for online(by wifi or gprs) to update my customer database.but now i can do the same thing by using n95 only.Some more i can browse maybank2u to do online transaction.

My battery life can last 2 days for 20~30 sms, 10photos, 10min call, and 2hrs youtube (wifi). GSM mode only.

It is obvious that if you have active wireless connection on your phone, it will drain battery more than normal. UMTS mode communication definitely drain more battery and therefore it is advised to switch to GSM mode if it is not in used. I am DiGi user so I do not concern. If switched to dual mode, your phone will keep on searching for UMTS frequency. For example, if you are not in coverage, your phone will drain battery 10x faster than normal. As a "3-months ex-Maxis-user", I guess 3G coverage is not developed yet. Sometimes it will even DOWN.

As a conclusion, everyone that having different battery life should be cause of the region they are active in, and service provider should have responsible for this. XD

P/s: WiFi drain battery less than 3G.

dude i experienced something similar... i was heading to KL city centre, wasn't raining when i started my drive (GPS assisted). Just after i exit from NPE it started raining and i lost sattelite signal. It wasn't even heavy rain, just drizzling and cloudy. Btw i'm using Garmin MXT 4.10.60. (firmware v10). I restarted the app but still couldn't get signal, restarted the phone too. I came out of KL then on the way back i could get signal.
need to test more..

i'm updating the firmware to v15... we'll c how it goes...

Yeah man...one more thing u should add...when the battery is 3 bars left...it's actually 1 bar...and better find a charger within 30 minutes time before your battery suddenly drop to 1 bar and warns you...
