battery u bought from ou is bl-5c? thats not n95 8gb battery

i guess he's using external bluetooth GPS receiver.

N95 8GB should be able to squeeze another half an hour I think, cause HTC TytnII can run 5 hours continous (with backlight switch on all the time, that's on a 1350mAh battery).

By the way, all you need is a car charger, no need 3 battery la...

I think the charger around RM60 or below, check previous pages around 40+ I think there a member bought it and reported the price.

And, no official information on the chip used in Nokia phones, so can't comment on that. But I read somewhere on the forum, the SifrIII (or whatever it is) is not miles away from the version II in terms of performance, so don't worry. The built in GPS already good enough for my need, can't ask for more at the moment.

N95 family and N82 use SiRF II. accuracy wise, it's same as the III but locking speed slower than III. but with A-GPS, both basically the same performance.

once u lock on, u can try slide it back. unless u start getting signal lost.

but IMHO, it will use more battery trying to get better signal. just my theory though

Just tried the Garmin XT voice navigation. It's really cool! With the details of malsing maps, voice nagivation couldn't be better! Si beh song!

However, compared to nokia maps, downloading maps couldn't be easier with Nokia maps loader, just load and go. I wanted to have some china maps, macau, hongkong and taiwan maps, they can't seems to be intergrated with the malsing if I'm not wrong due to the nature of the program with the gmapsupp.img, I think can only load one. However there's the mapsource loader, see if I can use it to intergrate all of the maps together?
