Looks like the preparations are more tedious compared to the Adriatic Circle Drive.

How about no acclimatization,....... just helicopter-up to 5000m and then descend from there ?

How much, and how long it took you for round trip?

Yeah.... Did the EBc trek, was supposed to do gokyo but had to abort as it was extreme cold and ice covered the tracks.. due to safety they cancel the route. I paid 1500 USD for single. It took me around 18 days + the halfway gokyo.

But now is really bad. I was blessed with clear skies but nighttime was already hitting close to -30. And now it's winter and totally snowing. So I would suggest not to go now as you won't enjoy the scenery.

Very reasonable price. Yeah, winter is not a good time to visit.

1500 I manage to get Heli from Kathmandu to lukla...but if you're going you can get literally everything in Thamel area... Very cheap as well. I did most of my shopping there and saved allot.

I know abt the mountain sickness thing and am ready with meds.
My final objective is to experience the Khumbu Icefalls.

Many teahouses and lodgings in the Himalayas have no heatings.

Thot of many ways to sleep comfortably,.. decided on this Sleeping Bag for below-zero environment,...

If not able to sleep well,.. can't climb and can't descend,.. that's one thing I know.

Sleeping bag with rated temperature-protection…

And training walking up and down a staircase with poor ventilation at one highrise apmt in KL….Did 20 flrs…up & down… 3 sets…Duffell Bag is 10 kgs in weight. Taken 3 x Acetazolamide the day before to feel the tingling effects and to observe if any deterioration in physical conditions & strength/stamina..

Looks like no problem at all… but I took my time climbing up to the 20th flr.

It takes so long tp upload photo… wondering if I can upload Live photos & videos at The Himalayas with NTC or The Everest Link satellite service.

Line problems, throttlings, irregular data speed.... causing double-postings, etc,....

But I'm telling myself to get used to this. Nepal's line quality would be worse, especially in the highlands !

Adjust and Adapt,... that's why we travel and see things,...
