When they know they cannot patch the really negative image the leasing battery gave them, they resort to using sales locations to soften the impact. Do notice there are no numbers at all stating about interested parties wantomg to own the car.

Do remember long long time ago, people was very interested in Perodua Nautica. Which is essentially Toyota Rush. But the price is so close to Toyota making it DOA after launch.
Did they really spent 1 billion on this? If I was Toyota and Daihatsu, I'm would be pissed as hell at the projected losses.
It is what like 50 years we buy toys and was really pissed off not getting AA or AAA batteries with it. People DO complain about this.
