1. i also dont know wat is dedicated memory, maybe is the own gc memory
2. shared memory is the memory that ur gc take/share from ur RAM, so ur RAM will be -64mb
3. 6150le i've never heard be4, and also i didnt see any 250MB gc available, as most of them r 128 > 256 > 512 > 1024, no 250mb exist

if u want a good card, u can state down ur budget and purpose, and here hv many kind forummer who can help u always

student?? me too tongue.gif how old r u?? haha, out topic....

actually, increase ur RAM memory wont increase ur shared memory, for wat i know lar, 64mb is the maximum memory it will share, and some forummers told me that the gc only will share the memory when it is needed, just like u borrow things from ur frend, after use then gv it back...

since u r a student, then how much budget ur parents gv u for buying gc?? maybe u can go for work for some extra income, holiday coming icon_idea.gif

6150le is integrated graphic processor, its not a graphic card since it's not an addon card.

Integrated graphic processor use some of your system RAM for its use. Probably it use 64MB of your system RAM for video purposes.

Integrated graphic is never good. Get a real graphic card if you plans on playing games. Even if you don't a graphic card would prevent your system RAM from being used up by the onboard graphic driver.

You will need Mother board that has PCI-E slot, almost all Mobo has this nowadays.
But then you need consider like your current RAM and processor, will it support the Mobo that you will buy? it really depends on your situation.

u can buy a external gc and use it....u just need a few click on the bios to disable the onboard gc and it will automatically use the external gc that u buy...
why not u state down u use more on wat? Gaming, movie or....
then we might can suggest u to get something....
