Changi T2 to T4....SQ flight landed 1.5 hr late and have to do mad rush to collect luggage, take bus then check-in at Airasia at T4

no but my ex colleague was late, i was in plane and everyone already seated. I hear the doors closing, then poof he appeared as the last person.

There was a very rushed and busy time in my life where for over 8 months i spent less than 2 weeks in my own bed. Plane-hotel-workworkwork-hotel-plane lather rinse and repeat. One day i sat down outside my plane's gate and konked out....totally no more energy. Only woke up when they were calling my name...final call for boarding. Was the last one on the plane. The hot towel handed to me while the plane was being pushed back never felt so good.

delayed myself going to airport by train
totoally forgotten about last train and the last train i took was express and didn't stop at haneda.
by the time sort it out, already pass the boarding time and technically couldn't make it.
took taxi back to my friend's place in tokyo which cost me rm2xx for 20 minutes ride.
since it is end of the year, flight going to klia was full that time. extended my trip in tokyo for another week.

same abt connecting flight but not weather. When purchasing ticket for free & easy mode overlooked the connecting flight is located at different airport (heneda-narita) and never was. The time gap between 2 flights only 3 hours, with the consideration of traffic condition, train schedule, immigration queue, unforeseen circumstances etc. Opted to book the airport transfer van and thank god managed to go home smoothly.

Few times actually, another time I was late for 30 minutes, I thought gg.com with check in luggage mana tau flight delayed 2 jam, lmao, 🤣 allowed me to check in as well

missed before, flight from JB to KL , so that i could fly to jakarta after that.

i duno why i was dreaming or what, boarding time 8.15am, in my mind was 8.15 i can still pass thru the gate.
i reached the boarding gate just in time to see it close in front of me.. i casually walked up and asked, boleh buka let me in, they strictly declined... wtf...
terus bought a ticket for KL and jakarta, but u know what? at the counter, they found out my passport left less than 3 (or was it 6 months) validity, asked me to go putrajaya ssettle.

WTF. so i took a flight to KLIA2, then duno how i ended up in putrajaya (maybe took aerotrain or bus) then took cab to reach the govt building . then i farking renewed by passport, before i went back to KLIA2 to take flight to jakarta.

and in the end, the farking jakarta trip wasnt even worth it coz i cant rmbr jack shit except that their nasi padang damn dirty coz they put everything there ont he table and let u eat then leftover will be served to next customer.

recent trip in Shanghai me and fiance were pretty early to boarding gate so we decided to go buy food and drinks before boarding but got quite a number of orders before ours

ended up returned late to the point the gate last call and already shut the door. they made some calls yada2 and then gate reopened and let us thru

ingat we were latest need walk the hall of shame only to see the boarding bridge still a queue of people getting to their seats lol

PS: there are still 10 more people turned up last min as well after we both seated

I notice this in Batik Air:
One hour before the departure time of a flight, the ground staff will ask the passengers who are still in the queue to come forward so that they can quickly check-in or drop the bags.

AirAsia doesn't care if you miss the flight by just 5 minutes.

Missed once overseas. The train to airport got delayed caused me to missed my flight

Actually I woke up late, the train delay was like 20 mins only

Requested letter from train operator to admit delay, got it and forwarded to travel insurer

No. Cina culture since ansesters is reach airport 4 hours earlier

ironically, you pay for a full fare flight but when airline delayed, they only give you around USD25 meal voucher if the delay is over 4 hours

miss my luggage check in. Luckily I was travelling light so they let me hand carry. Still, quite tiring to walk all the way to the gate with extra bag without wheels.

Missed banyak kali liao, because I always take flights balik kampung. Even my mum won't get surprised if I missed flights.

But the most topkek experience was missing a flight to Europe very long time ago (25 years ago). Ticket wrote 0.00am and I was late one while day, nasib baik Lufthansa gave another free ticket. These days no more flight timed 0.00am because people will get confused, now they time it 0.05am.
