They are supposed to pray to the same God but somehow have deviated from their path. Hence they are considered enemies.

Only Muslims think the two or three religions are somehow connected. Christians, do not recognize Muhammad as a prophet. So do Jews.

Also, in the Bible, Jesus never refers to god as Jehovah, the Jewish God. He only refers to a father in heaven. Ideologically, what Jesus taught and what Jews believed about God are like day and night. More Christians are realizing that Jesus teaching is more spiritual and based on seeking within and not worshipping an external entity. In short, there are differing thoughts even on connection between Judaism and real teachings of Jesus.

So, lumping all of them as 'Abrahamic' religions, to me, is a major oversight.
