I think win11 also no official support ddr3 platform liao.
performance also slower so no demand hence no price hike.

it's prolly to do with the current silver crisis

physical silver is virtually out of stock everywhere

paper silver is at ATH price of ~usd63/oz n no one is selling becos the price is fake

samsung executives reported went down to the mines in mexico to secure supply paying sky high prices of well over usd74/oz

Wow, you are right, almost double in 1 year.

Maybe those who want to hoard gold are too late to join the bandwagon, so buy silver as the next best physical investment.

Not sure what people do with the computing power and ram...

Ayam just buy a RM700 mini pc with Intel N100, 16gb ddr5 and 512gb ssd... your ram cost more than my pc.

DIY gaming pc survived the crypto boom. It will survive this ai bubble

This is wholly my own observation. This time it's different. GPU prices doesn't go down anymore. Top tier gpu such as the 1080ti was launched at 699usd. Top tier today 5090 is 1999usd.

Core ultra 7 is rm1.6k.
i7 6700k was RM1.3k.

Z series mobo used to be rm500 can get, rm800 top tier.
Now rm800 get you basic board.

I for one have no more desire to DIY PC.

historically the price of silver tracks the price of gold in a ratio of about 30:1. recently it reached a peak of 120:1, ie while gold was at ATH, silver prices remained low. it has now come back to around 70:1. there is nothing to justify that USD63/oz for silver is too expensive or fake, if based on historical silver:gold prices. since gold prices are unlikely to come down soon (unless china central bank and rest of world stops buying and start selling), dont expect silver prices to drop either.

The end is near. Food prices increase, taxes increase, energy cost increases, now electronics increases. At the end of the day, you can live without electronics but you cannot live without food. So people will choose food and Samsung is not selling food.
