In 2023, Focus Point successfully transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

From those humble beginnings, we have grown from a small-town optical store to a company that not only leads the eyewear retail industry in the country, but one that is set to make its mark on the region.

In 2010, Focus Point achieved a major milestone by becoming the first optical retail chain to be listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.

In 2014, Focus Point is officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the largest optical retail chain store in Malaysia.

One of the key drivers of Focus Point’s growth and success is our ability to meet the diverse needs of the broad spectrum of consumer segments through specialised sub-brands and retail concepts like

Focus Point,

Focus Point Signature,

Focus Point Concept Store,

Focus Point Outlet,

Focus Point Lifestyle,

Focus Point SightSavers,

Whoosh Eyewear,

Opulence,

Eyefont, Optometris Anggun

and i-Focus,

each targeting a specific demographic.

To date, we have more than 200 stores operating across Malaysia and Brunei, with more than 230 eye care professionals ready to serve you.

Sorry not OWL but I tried also and they offered

Is call MOG eyewear, quite many stores in malaysia too

Honestly I dont know what brand but the price is less than half of what offer I get usually for the 1.74 thickness type lens.

My usual price I purchased whether kodak or Zeiss or other brand quote from rm 850 - 1250

I get this for rm 450 and 1 year full warranty including accidental damage/lens tear etc.

Specs buy in bulk and those ready made lenses costs less than 10 per eye wear.

The only cost is the optometrist machineries which costs 10k+

Those custom made lenses above 500 power are more expensive a bit. Margin is 80% so still a good profit.

So u see those frames so may patterns and all are actually damn cheap that they don’t care. Those pre set power between 100-500 costs rm5 per piece only.

U go shah Alam, some selling for rm59 only. 9 being the cost lol

Can haggle price and all.

Those big brands selling fixed higher price is like earning x times more those franchises.

Blue lens is a scam. The driving yellow film gimmick? Some may feel the difference if there’s you have what they call “flash”. Can’t recall the term now lol

Unless 1.74 and above 800 power, those thickness differences are negligible on the small frame. The lenses are cut down to the middle part which is thinner anyway.

Whatever brand they say, unless they can name it and can be verified like zeiss and Hoya, the rest are basically their in house brand with no difference as well. The coating on them nowadays can last 3-4 years regardless. Just wash with water - no soap no chemicals then wipe clean even after u went for some smoky bbq.

RM 1.1 K seems expensive.

Minus those fancy branded coating with in-house coating see whether can get within RM 500 or not.

Actually branded lens like from Zeiss or Hoya really got diff meh? My last pair from 7 years ago using Zeiss lens only already 1.5k then after that use some cheap lens Korea 700 only but I cannot tell the diff. Same stuff added anti bluelight, UV & transition.

Actually branded lens like from Zeiss or Hoya really got diff meh? My last pair from 7 years ago using Zeiss lens only already 1.5k then after that use some cheap lens Korea 700 only but I cannot tell the diff. Same stuff added anti bluelight, UV & transition.
