1 study engineering , got bored, go and become pilot, now fly for air asia

1 become air hostess, after covid she got fired, now start her own bakery and married to singapore

well, I sometimes go poke around my friends from high school to uni.

Noticed most of them has blocked me, out of the blue.
Otherwise, living their lives.

Alot of friends doing engineering one, has alot of weird pivottal career changes.
Some from New Zealand's Working Holiday become Perm. Reside There....

Recently I'm not sure how I reached this depressing point in my life of stalking other's life, to start doubting and questioning my life's progression.

Why you shocked ppl evolve unless you really really stayed still

It's quite common to see top students end up become kuli while average or slightly above average students but not top in the class end up finishing masters or PhD.

While C students become either big boss or also kuli.

Got a few friends like this also. Secondary school time they are back class students. Never study.

But father got own business. Last last, just follow father business.

Life is so easy for them.

the kind that we barely talk back in those days

due to time differences we didn't talk much and the conversation ended
then later found out he got into drug & money problem committed suicide
somehow to this day i still think that i'm partially responsible for his death

family business is key
sad sometimes when see the next gen can't take over the previous owner's legacy
some prefer sell lock stock, easy money - less headache
