Buddhism teaching states no harm on living beings … how to eat pork them without harming the pig i seriously do not know …
Some people just become vegetarian on 1st and 15th … partially practicing Buddhism …
But in general if fully follow - shall be a vegetarian …
Also prevent loss of mindfulness - related to alcoholism.
There is no enforcement all by best effort … that is why it is seen as okay to consume only …
It sounds like you don’t actually understand what Buddhism is.Some people just become vegetarian on 1st and 15th … partially practicing Buddhism …

Vegetarianism has nothing to do with Buddhism; it comes from Taoist practices.
Gautama Buddha ate meat. Monastics do not kill, but they eat whatever is offered to them—they are not allowed to be selective. That is authentic Buddhist practice.
Buddhism teaches non-killing, not imposing personal standards on others. As long as you yourself do not kill, that is what matters.
Buddhism also does not force its ideology, standards, or views onto others. Anyone who does so is not practicing true Buddhism.
