The lease at its current premises has expired and the company has opted not to renew it.

JB so near and cheap still need to think. LoL.

On-board audio has been steadily improving by a lot...can produce decent sound (to my non-audiophile ears)
while Creative's drivers have been steadily subject to much cost-cutting.

Compare the X-fi Titanium which gave 24 parameters of adjustment to just the reverb alone, and today's Audigy FX/RX with just treble and bass to tweak. Meh!

My USB Creative XFi "soundcard" has lasted for more than 10 years already. Imagine one day Creative bankrupt and no more new driver for new OS. gg.

their products especially sound cards is actually quite good

their genius audio engineers designed soundbar with connection options of only 48khz usb audio or bt 5.3
