Here’s my overview on why I said you guys are basically just the same people, different skin color only. Both DAP and PAS rely on fear, anger, and identity politics to survive. They just target different demographics.
Just as PAS tells rural Malays that "DAP is a threat to Islam," DAP tells urban non-Malays that "PAS is a threat to your lifestyle." Both sides use fear to lock in votes. PAS calls DAP 'enemies of the religion' to scare Malays. DAP calls PAS 'Taliban' to scare Chinese. Both are exaggerations designed to make you terrified of the 'Other' rather than voting on policy.
You cited PAS calling non-Muslims the "root of corruption." DAP has faced similar accusations of using derogatory language against Malays or their political rivals, which is often perceived as chauvinism. PAS insults non-Muslims by calling them corrupt. DAP (via Superman Hew) has insulted Malays by reducing them to political tools to be 'screwed.' Both sides strip the dignity of the other race when the microphones are off (or on).
PAS is often accused of acting "holier than thou." DAP is often accused of acting "smarter than thou"…talking down to voters they don't control. PAS demands gratitude and submission from non-Muslims. DAP demands submission from states like Sarawak, threatening them with bankruptcy if they don't vote the 'right way.' Both display an arrogant 'We know better than you' attitude. If you had forgotten, LGE told sarawak they would go bankrupt within 3 years if they didnt let PH rule there lulz.
You get angry when PAS questions non-Muslim citizenship. But DAP leaders like Kula have also questioned Malay indigeneity. Both sides play with historical fire to fire up their own base, ignoring the hurt it causes the other side. Also, Kula used PAS’ playbook, cakap dulu without brain, later say sorry.
Deswai, DAP and PAS are symbiotic. DAP needs a scary PAS to get Chinese votes. PAS needs a scary DAP to get Malay votes. If one disappears, the other loses their main campaign weapon. That is why they are the same coin.
So the whole word salad above basically says there's no evidence of DAP saying things like puak halal are the enemies, or puak halal are the root of corruption, or puak halal can only be pak turut cannot hold power, or kasi sembelih puak halal, or ask you to pray harder instead of actually helping out, so you're making up whatever imaginary slights there is and extrapolate from there to paint DAP same as PAS.
