Man, I mean, I've no issue if UEC which is chinese based education is not recognized, if it deserves to be unrecognized.

But the point is that right now, UEC is highly recognized worldwide by international universities, high ranking ones. And Malaysia, which is still a damn developing country that is supposed to be humble and learning from other countries, surprisingly hate UEC.

This makes it look like a jerk and immature if it's totally race based motive to dislike and don't want to recognize UEC.

I mean, UEC is not lower standard than SPM. If it's lower standard, of course that's a solid reason to not rocognize UEC because the syllabus is not enough for admission to university.

But UEC is in fact higher standard than SPM which makes Malaysian seems insecure and have hidden motive fueled by envy or jealousy towards a race to disapprove UEC as a defensive response.

We have to remember that we are not world leaders. Wo are developing countries. If we can't dominate, we learn and join the big brothers. Else, we will keep on getting left behind. Singapore, which is a smart country knows that. And they did a right choice to learn from European countries.

A wise person learn. A dumb person keep on getting defensive and remain stupid.

So many people commenting without understanding what is UEC. UEC is not replacing SPM because students taking UEC also taking SPM. Issue is making UEC recognized on par with STPM hence as pre requisite for uni entry. So don’t compare UEC with SPM, it’s like comparing durian and apple.

UEC is rich people problem .. people who go private school and take UEC are helang .. so no problem to go private U or overseas U … they never complain UEC not recognized for Msia University…
