Anne Heung, who was crowned Miss Hong Kong in 1998, expressed the difficulties she has faced in finding a suitable partner despite her efforts.



In an interview with Hong Kong magazine Mp Weekly, the beauty queen divulged that the majority of men she encountered over the past years were already married. Meanwhile, the single men she met failed to meet her criteria regarding personality, habits, and cultural values, resulting in her continued single status.



Heung also reminisced about her first love at the age of 20 while she was living in Canada, revealing her desire to marry him. However, her parents disapproved of the relationship. She eventually broke up with him in 1998 when she returned to Hong Kong to enter the Miss Hong Kong pageant.

Despite having been in several relationships since then, Heung stated that they were all brief and none managed to significantly impact her emotionally.



Heung, 50, embarked on her acting career following her pageant victory, featuring in numerous films produced by Hong Kong television broadcasting company TVB until her departure from the network in 2008.



She is presently an entrepreneur with ventures in the jewelry and health care product industries.
