in sarawak, all races live in harmony, they dont feel threaten by each other... chinese and muslim can live and eat together without issue, chinese eat theirs, muslim eat theirs, no problem. since they dont feel threaten and can live harmony, so recognition UEC or kebangsaan make no different for them... you would be surprise that in sarawak, malay food court is full of chinese people.. sometimes the chinese occupied almost the whole food court... they noe which malay stalls serve the best food... we dont have mamak in swak, so night time we only lepak at malay food court...

whereas in peninsular, racism is the core of the politic.. it is not that by nature non-muslim and muslim cannot live together, they can but not allow by politicians. but politicians cannot openly say cant, so they instill fear in people... one day is malay racist chinese.. second day is chinese bully malay, so chaos happen, they can stay in power... imagine today muslim and non-muslim live harmony, would they care who is the minister? so this posts a big threat to those politicians to stay in power. u see they keep saying british is bad using dasar pecah dan perintah, the current politicians also adopted the same thing, just they do it indirectly, not as direct as the british.. so in another word, u can hate british but deep down your ballsack, u noe the method works for u... politicians prefer the people to stay naive and uneducated because naive and uneducated are the easiest to control and believe blindly...
