I think the not password, username. I think it's been like that the last round I applied visa, but did not mention whether they are so free to check the history or not.
Actually many Malays, esp those with a janggut one, will always stuck or have visa declined when going to the interview. I saw this and also know some people who got his Visa declined for many times, until have to hire lawyer to "clear" him

I have both leisure and work visas and has been flying in and out for almost 20 years. I have never given my password before. Even the username, it's only the most recent application requires the username for the social media. My earlier visa applications all without socmed information.

But if you scrub stuff prior to handing in application they wont care right? Dunno if social media accounts track your edits also these days
