Very poor stability especially indoor. Sometimes keep flipping between 4G and 5G. Last2 force set to 4G better when indoor.

The most recent comprehensive report available for the Malaysian market from Opensignal is the November 2025 Mobile Network Experience Report

DNB's 5G Performance (Latest Report)The results are reported by the individual Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) like Unifi, U Mobile, Maxis, etc., who use the DNB network, but they provide an overall view of the DNB infrastructure's performance:1. 5G Download Speeds: Slight Decline but Still FastAverage 5G Download Speed: The average 5G download speed has dipped slightly, falling from about 239.9 Mbps to approximately 237.5 Mbps.4Interpretation: This slight decline is often seen in growing 5G networks globally. It happens because more users are joining the network, which splits the available bandwidth, and operators are using more low-band spectrum for wider coverage (which is slower than mid-band).5 Top MNO for Speed: Unifi emerged as the sole winner for the 5G Download Speed Award in a recent report, pulling away from competitors.. 5G Availability: Strong Growth5G Availability: The percentage of time users spend connected to 5G remains strong. The leading MNO in this category, U Mobile, won the 5G Availability award with a score of 57.8%Interpretation: This indicates that the DNB network's coverage footprint is extensive in populated areas, allowing users to connect to 5G more than half the time.

4G speeds are improving slightly 29.9 Mbps} to 32.7 Mbps

in short.... those complain here are USER problems nod.gif

possible cause
check if your phone cant handle high speed , need retire !
your location signal bad . did u check signal level dBm at location ?

AND not all celfones are same . RX hardware and software .
so do tell what celfone you are using. so we can corelate the data nod.gif

Cause our current 5G is NSA mode.

SA mode would be better for our phone battery life.

note i said possible causes.

did you check what signal strength in dbm you were gettin eh nod.gif

According to Opensignal's recent analysis from September 2025, Malaysia has the faster 5G download and upload speeds compared to Thailand. A November 2022 report explicitly stated that Malaysian users had 172.2% higher average 5G download speeds than Thai users.

like i said user problem !

in DNB doc say

Minimum Guaranteed Speed: When connected to the general Malaysian 5G network (run by DNB), a minimum speed of 100 Mbps is guaranteed. Your speed will likely be much higher than this minimum in a coverage area.

Average Speeds: Opensignal reports show U Mobile users experience average 5G download speeds of around 274 Mbps.

this is much faster than 4g average speed of about 26 Mbps.

celcomdigi limits 5g speed for certain plans to 100mbps

and definitely cant get a min 100mbps

so this DNB doc is nothing more than a "recommendation"

what DNB is sayin is i guarantee min 100 mbps to the operators .

the operators in turn will market their 5G plan as what their marketing decide.

was it indoor? Thai 5G uses 700MHz spectrum, which can serve indoor easily, but the data is a lot slower compared to higher frequency. DNB also granted 700MHz, but I guess they haven't deployed yet, so far only the 3.5GHz, which is hard for indoor usage.

TL. DR., you can't beat physics.
