think of toshiba tv, lexmark, and many others which used to be japan owned, are now chinese owned...
go through every item in your home, don't be surprised if 80% comes MIC ( made in china)..

1. NO, if you notice many of their stuff are not exported as well, japan economy can survive with their own local consumption alone
