I always thought it was stupid. Ironically, my career here was built on the virtual platform because I was hired to virtualised the functionality that they previously sold as a add-on hardware accelerator. Actually, it was great for the company because customers could try the software version and then started buying licenses for it. Even now that they are moving back to hardware platforms, they will still be using the software version rather than a add-on hardware accelerator, which has been discontinued.Hence the reverse.

No, our customers a lot doing self-hosting due to sensitive data. Just recently, a couple of big ones started ordering lots of new hardware from us. We can't get enough chips for our platforms.
