place I work at already lari to nutanix since vmware support so lousy even with active license

it's not usually, but at least the support responds pretty quickly and is actually helpful.

Proxmox is pretty good if you're willing to learn how to configure/harden/manage with mostly documentation and forum help, not sure how resilient it is for production though, it has Ceph storage, but I'm not really knowledgeable about that part. Not sure if there's anyone in Malaysia that offers proxmox support for on-prem deployments.

I don't really know much about hyper-v outside of using it to run a linux vm that's not wsl on my work computer. It has issues with running some desktop environments that aren't common, like Cosmic DE, that's about the only thing notable I know.
