My take is below 80K else enter territory X50 Exec & Tiggo Cross both with 1.5T with significantly more ommph.

Donor unit Yaris Cross is also few years old already become taxi overseas hence no tech allure.

After the 800M EV sales and marketing disaster, P2 is now back paddling and need to re-establish foothold.

Suspect the higher variant is mid 70s and lower variant possibly dipping just below 70K

Sneaky Proton also allowing AMA02 Saga Cross pictures start circulating.

If they revert their 1.5L BHE15 engine to otto cycle pair with DCT gearbox and price standard variant below 50k, mostly likely will outsell Traz next year by a hugh margin.

Daihatsu gearbox in several Perodua models is a really advanced hybrid system which consist of CVT + planetary gear that is light, efficient and proven to be robust enough when not pushed beyond it's 150Nm limit. However this limits the choice of engines to only NA units such as the ubiquitous 2NR-VE that dished out max 140Nm

Similar to Toyota's hybrid gearbox (gear + CVT) but implemented in reverse (CVT + gear) by Daihatsu engineers to fulfill duties in A& B segment models worldwide.
