Bank A (Shared Service) - AVP - Salary 10k - might stay back late sometimes

Bank B (International Bank)- Manager - Salary 11k - more structured, rarely stay back

30 years old this year. yes im a job hopper, planning to jump after 2-3 years.

Should take which 1 if u were me? get title or money first?

Generally bank titles stay at banking level, they are not sellable on outside world.

If you are planning to move, then maybe better to take the 11k then.

I wouldn't really consider shared services as banking hahah

without diving deep in the nature of your job and region where the international bank is located, Bank B would be the ideal one

if you're in the industry long enough you know which bank give inflated titles - for example, some banks hand out associate director title for associate level roles

B. Regardless how nice the title, if your salary is low, then u will still get low title if u jump to next company.

Eg, company A give u CEO title but 10k salary. Then u go new MNC and get 13k salary, your title is manager only. U wont get CEO title as MNC CEO title is 6 figure. Cant be u from 10k then they offer u 6 figure right just because your current title is CEO?

Go for B. Salary is something real that you are getting every month. It makes a different in your life.

a title means nothing especially in banking industry.

Which role will give you the most time to develop the future skills to survive when these jobs are eliminated - lower/middle management in finance will be very vulnerable.
