I am still driving my 2011 Kia Forte since then, nothing much to worry about quite a good car if u maintain it well.

I am not a person who looks forward to performance or pickup n stuff, just basic car with some functions will do with least problem to get to my destination.

However, only drive within KV and not outstation though where everyday also jam, buy what car also same.

I've both a Naza Sorento 2004 and Naza Ria 2009. Both still serviceable at Kia SC and still have plenty of parts.

Odd parts I can find at junkyards or Shopee. Dirt cheap too.

Newer Kia models can get parts from Shopee or AliExpress. When buying parts from AE, be sure to check if compatible with RHD as overseas models are usually LHD.

Heck, even the local Forte or Picanto are easy to find parts. Sometimes cheaper than T or H.

key word.. RENTAL. what do you expect from rental cars la? ppl use rental cars and abuse it. I've rented a car in the past a very well known brand for it's reliability but what i got was squeaking here there. suspension also like not right.

Kia sorento um 2017 diesel high spec car owner. 8 years now. Plan to keep it for the next 7 years.

Why buy? Last time NAZA managed to sell the car cheaper than BERMAZ. don't know how they managed to do that. Less taxes I think during that time. Imagine the same Kia sorento successor now cost rm 70k higher than your current car.

Parts are easy to find. Can always go international market to buy parts. Cost, may be slightly higher, but quality is there. AFAIK, only the Jaecoo J8 is the only <200k with 2nd row curtains, even then comes with 6 seats. Not so usable 3rd row. My car comes with 7 seats. New sorento 6 seats. I don't need to deal with sunroof maintenance on my car. Also my car comes with extended sunshade visor.

Bought myself a Kia Rondo back in 2008.
Saved my family twice from a near collision.
Never had any major services other than replacing ac condenser and compressor. This car is old enough to take SPM lol, and I love it to bits.
I wish my next car will be another KIA, but we'll see what model they will bring to Malaysia next year.
