Who gives a fuck what is the best cuisine? You want to eat authentic char kuey teow for every meal for the rest of your life? Sometimes I wanna eat authentic tomyam and burn my arsehole, sometimes I wanna eat bakso, sometimes I crave an authentic banh mi. Everyday you cheong the same angpai at Pucheong also boring la diu.

i dont see how indo can win if most dishes dont use that trump card meat....

I’d place Malaysia as 1st and Indon second. Malaysia has cuisine from various cultures Chinese, Malay, Indian, orange asli, minangkabau etc. the varieties are there.
Indo has a lot of cuisines and from various tribes.
Thailand if you go normal plan, all same tomyam, chicken noodle soupy, pad Thai, etc.
Viet, lagi teruk, almost similar to Thai and Yunnan cuisine. Even their herbs are almost similar.

MY - Laksa Sarawak
SG - Mala Xiang Guo (I know it’s from China but my favorite is from a stall in SG)
Laos - never tried

SeaAsia is pro konoha. So if u notice always indon higher than MY punya. Lel

PH the only highlight I think is lechon. Imagine thinking catsup flavored spaghetti and pancit which is just fried beehon that every other country also make somehow become regional highlights
