Logesh explained that one company reached out shortly after he applied.
“So I applied for a job and this one company reached out so I started interviewing with them, I did six interview rounds and I was still in America and then there’s two more interview rounds while I was already travelling," he said.
He was eventually offered a position, although the role required a relocation from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles, prompting a major move for the family.
Rachel said the change was initially difficult as she already had a stable job in the Bay Area.
“After he accepted the job, I started applying for jobs for me to work at down here and was up til like 1am in Malaysia interviewing for jobs over Facetime or whatnot to try to secure a job here so that we moved here, we were ready to go," she added.
Shortly after returning from Malaysia, the couple travelled to Los Angeles to secure housing. They then proceeded with onboarding, packing and the full relocation process.
They are now settling in their new home in Culver City. The couple said the added income stability from their new jobs has eased the financial load.
