The Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police has issued a Decision to prosecute the accused and an Arrest Warrant to detain Doan Van Sang (born in 1968, residing at 195 Nguyen Phi Khanh, Tam Thanh Ward, Lang Son Province) for the crime of Murder under Clause 1, Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code.

Through the work of grasping the situation on cyberspace, Lang Son Provincial Police discovered on social networking platforms images and videos describing the incident with signs of suspicious murder, causing public confusion. Through the investigation, verification, documents and evidence collected, Lang Son Provincial Police identified the victim as Nguyen Xuan Dat, born in 1989, residing in Hau Trung 2 village, Tien Hung commune, Hung Yen province and the subject who committed the murder was Doan Van Sang, born in 1968, residing at 195 Nguyen Phi Khanh street, Tam Thanh ward, Lang Son province (formerly Deputy Captain of Market Management Team No. 4, Lang Son province).

Around 2020, Sang met Dat through social networking platforms. On January 25, 2025, Sang called and agreed with Dat to let Dat go to Market Management Team No. 4 - Lang Son province (Sang's workplace). Here, Sang committed the act of killing Dat. After committing the crime, Sang had many acts of erasing, erasing traces, and disposing of the body in order to conceal the crime and deal with the authorities.

On November 28, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police issued a Decision to prosecute the criminal case of Murder; on November 29, 2025, issued a Decision to prosecute the accused and an Order to arrest the accused to detain Doan Van Sang for the crime of Murder under Clause 1, Article 123 of the 2015 Penal Code.
