I found out a lot of expensive keyboards looks well made, but are badly thought out. Most if not all does not have at least basic water proofing or water channeling. Some of the electronics are badly mounted.

Every keyboard maker that sells the caps and lights are just selling you the caps and lights. The rest of the engineering budget never existed for prolonging the life of the keyboard.

My relative have one gaming kibod that cost almost RM500. One damn day, it raied so heavy that the ceiling leaked on it. One of the keys cannot work. So thought wanna open and see if there was any water inside the kibod. There are no liquid outflow channels like even those cheap ass logitech RM30 keyboard!! WTF??? And when bought the keycaps are said to be removable. End up so hard to remove and gave up on it. doh.gif I cannot think of those people who paid like RM700 for a keyboard and they spilled some drink and it died just like that. doh.gif
