I remember a PKR leaders has openly say they wanted to abolish Sarawak's autonomy in immigration.

Nothing wrong really. Sarawak is merely enforcing their right as agreed in the agreement while west Malaysia don’t have this clause, so yea

Just because there is this clause, do you think it's fair?

Clauses were included back in 1963 because they do not want am influx of West Malaysia to Sarawak

Today, do you think this clause is still justified?

justified or not, its the contract... agreed and signed by all parties

imagine u signed a 5-yr lease/rental for an apartment from... but then 2 years later the owner say 'Eyy..the economy now is bad compare 2 yrs before...i need to raise the rental'

is it fair or not? both parties agreed to the terms at the point of signing the legal document, dun cry fair/not fair after that

This is not a 5 year lease rental. It's signed back in the 60s nearly 50 years ago. Don't you think the agreement need to be updated?

fair or not is not up to me to decide. just know that they want to exercise this, nothing much we can do about it.
