I'm having big trust issues on turn signals from other cars
I was about to exit to main road, sees an incoming car with turn signals on
I assumed he wants to turn in into the road where I'm at so I moved out (might be me too impatient)
Heard a loud honk so I stopped, front almost got hit by the incoming car
Turns out he wants to turn in into the road after mine
I moved on while that car stopped after turned in and stared at me
I admit I should have waited till the car slowed down to confirm it's safe to move out, did he signalled too early?

this is very common at the sunway uni turn out into summit / damen area there lots of idiots will put signal early then u thought they want to turn into the road before yours padahal they want to go into the petrol station after ur road thats why i still stop and wait until i see them really turn into the earlier road then only i go i also kena before and i scolded that guy but they still argue they are right coz main road ma kek nowdays i realize people when they want to go into a lane they just put signal 2 sec then just go in and u have to brake for them to merge in next time i also will do that already if u cant beat them, join them just be a country with lousy driver can already

When I see signal, I will wait few more moments for them to display intent. Best to look at their front tyres to confirm they're turning then only safe.

Very common. That's why always wait for them to start turning in first before moving. But risk is back fella impatient and honk you.

But one thing I find quite funny — not sure if it’s basic human instinct or just a driving habit.
Whenever someone is turning left into a lane, even after they’re already halfway in, they’ll slow down… really slow. I don’t know if they’re scared the car will roll over or if it’s just human nature to do that.
And if you’re the car behind, you have no choice but to slow down or even stop, because the other options are going into oncoming traffic or into another lane where cars are coming straight from behind youi at full speed.

I will only move when the car has initiated the turn.
