whats wrong with social distancing? i do hope this became a norm because people like banglas like to sodok damn close behind me when queueing like wtf
You're right when it comes to these foreign workers. And most of them are working long term and they don't have a place to go to "release", except cheap massage parlours or "quickie" rm80 or rm90 "joints". And hopefully they not doing some" things" at their dorm or rooms. Most of them stay together. Of course, not speculating everyone, but better be safe, especially when they are standing so close to your back.
But then again, even many malaysians also have smelly armpits or not really take shower often. As evident from crowded buses or LRTs.
So, can't really generalize.
Coming back to "social distancing", only the words are cringe-inducing. But then again, I also hate to hear the words "social media".

Talking about social distancing, it's quite amusing to see during later parts of covid, when restaurants started to cautiously open, due to govt regulations, they need to set up transparent partitions across the table. And when I and my wife went there, we need to be separated from each other, even though we came from the same home, and same car. I remember this well while having ice-cream at Swensen's when I was in Bangkok at that time. Went there just before covid and then lockdown. So stayed there at wife's home for the rest of the year.
