Guru, Pekerja Kantin Maut SUV Jatuh Gaung Di Jalan Aring
A lot of people like to try the jalan tikus routes thinking it is faster or short cut. So even with all the barriers, they will still disobey and try their luck. Probably the signboards never said got huge gaung right up ahead and death awaits. max_cavalera liked this post

That road is also another kind. Right on top a deforested ridge. Not sked the ridge wash away after heavy rain.
Whoever designed or planned this road is an otak kosong fella. No amount of repair will work for this. Need to build a totally new route, repair is impossible. And that area is known for high rainfall. This post has been edited by Hobbez: Dec 6 2025, 04:11 PM |

QUOTE(ScooterBoi @ Dec 6 2025, 04:13 PM) On Google maps, it shows road closure and have to use the usual route around from Kuala berang to gua musang. Building a road thru that rugged forested area is not a good idea and never was. The maintenance is very costly and the road will be destroyed in a short while by itself.Got photos on the site, taken 2 months ago. (2 years ago, august 2023, I traveled this road, Kuala berang-tasik kenyir-gua musang.) ![]() ![]() ![]() The road to Kuala Tahan and beyond to the inner kampungs also face this problem. No maintenance. Building is easy, maintenance is impossible. max_cavalera liked this post

Lelelel this one they just put a small signboard la at the junction like those orange sign board road construction people use, they put at multiple places along the way la but soemtimes it's middle or the road sometimes some busy body moved it aside, sometimes it's even missing kek.

How about stop building roads through forested areas? Just respect the place as a wilderness area, can or not?
