Petrol & Risiko Kanser

Tahukah anda bahawa petrol yang kita guna setiap hari sebenarnya boleh meningkatkan risiko kanser jika terdedah secara berpanjangan?

Menurut laporan terkini daripada International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC):
🚗 Petrol automotif disahkan boleh menyebabkan kanser – terutama:
⚠️Kanser pundi kencing
⚠️Leukemia (kanser darah jenis tertentu)

Kesihatan kita, tanggungjawab kita bersama.
Lindungi diri, lindungi keluarga

cars should be banned, with such a high amount of people die from road accident everyday and now even the fuel can cause cancer, thats too much risk just to travel from point A to B.

EV isnt any good either.
the high voltage creates EMF & electrical field which isnt good for your long term health.

people who lives around electrical grid transmission lines reported to have their health impacted. can google for it

AI Overview
Yes, gasoline is classified as a human carcinogen (Group 1) by the
International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), primarily causing bladder cancer and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults, due to components like benzene and 1,3-butadiene, with occupational exposure in gas stations and refining being high-risk, though general public exposure to fumes is also a concern.

Luckily the petrol smell disgusting as fak, never will i stand around the pump area when filling, just press trigger and quickly get the fark out of there, stand at the front of the car or opposite from the petrol pumping.

Too bad not many petrol station have pump attendant that jaga all stations, hold the dirty petrol pump, press the trigger, and open my fuel tank etc while i just sit in car after paying use setel, so sometimes i have to become damn ugly standing there like a pump attendant filling my own petrol, look like a dumbass but what to do, service here is like that 1.

5. So, simple version:

Can petrol cars contribute to cancer risk?
Yes, mainly through exhaust pollution and petrol fumes (benzene).

Does driving a petrol car mean you’ll get cancer?
No. It’s about level + duration of exposure. Normal use is a small risk, but at population level it matters.

If you tell me how you’re usually exposed (just driving, working at a petrol station, mechanic, living next to highway, etc.), I can give more specific advice for your situation.

Seems true. No wonder so many people have cancer. Being a delivery rider for example, Shopee delivery or e-hailing is actually very high risk.
