Yes, you are basically giving one person or group too much power until they will rob Sabah blindfolded and park their wealth in another country and then later blame semenanjung, the federal, Petronas.

Monopoly is simply bad, they will use their wealth to buy more politicians and more agency to further expand their greed.

And worst of all, they are not elected or hired, they will remain in power indefinitely.

Which law is it that mention monopoli is illegal?  As far as I know, there is none.

Not illegal in Malaysia.

But like the US, they have an antitrust law to prevent monopoly.

But my point is, you can never allow a scalper mentality, greedy guy that robs people of their land natural resources, and buys the politicians that they voted for.

It is an insult to the populace to have any of the politicians they elected end up being under the same payroll.

Then what is the point for Sabah people to elect politicians if all of them end up being bribed by the monopoly tycoon?

Might as well just stop the election process altogether and give Alberto the King position for Sabah.
