Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Azmin Ali has described DAP and Pakatan Harapan’s significant losses in the recent Sabah polls as a rejection by businesspersons and the Chinese community.

This is after DAP lost all eight seats it contested - mostly in urban areas with sizeable Chinese voter population - while Harapan only won one seat.

If you listen to KJ’s KS, he provided a statistical summary. DAP lost 58% of nons votes from last state elections and this one. And a total wipeout! Honestly I was shocked to see the outcome. Now we see Sarawak, Melaka.

Sarawak can forget about it. Melaka one more interesting, as if performance is bad like Sabah, alarm bells will be ringing.

Sabah and Sarawak politicians don't like DAP, because they are from Malaya, they prefer Singapore as hush-hush buddies.

Partner in crime to stash wealth like how Pamela Ling's husband few months ago reversed the court proceedings within 1 day and claimed all Pamela Ling's wealth under his name, so convenient.

QUOTE
SINGAPORE: Months before she went missing, Datin Seri Pamela Ling, the wife of a prominent Sarawakian businessman sued her estranged husband in Singapore.

She had accused him of forging her signature to obtain her shares in a Singapore company, the Straits Times reported.

Datuk Seri Thomas Hah, 56, responded with a counterclaim, accusing Ling of wrongfully seizing control of his company, which owns six commercial properties in Singapore.

On April 9, Ling, 42, was reportedly abducted in Putrajaya, while she was on her way to give a statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in relation to a corruption and money-laundering investigation involving her and her husband.

Her disappearance made national headlines after her brother released a statement to the media on May 2.

Seven months later, with Ling still missing, Hah proceeded with his counterclaim.

On Oct 21, the High Court granted judgment in his favour after a one-day trial.

Hah testified via video link from Malaysia while two of his employees took the stand in person.

Likely Sarawak is going to be another white wash like Sabah.
Melaka is also another tough one cos of Akmal factor. I was at Melaka last week for hols. Spoke to some locals. They just gave a ‘wry smile’ when I talked about DAP’s/UG’s performance, even with the malays(went to those new rebus shops) as well.

All incumbent will kena bash. It is very common.

Once PN comes to power, the bashing will start. Then when PH become opposition, they will be hailed as heroes again.

Same. Most peranakan are voting DAP out if they don’t change course.

The “if you don’t vote for DAP you’ll be voting for PAS” don’t work for them.

They are running out of narratives to campaign now, I suppose. Cos they cannot say they are against corruption since so many DNAA, Sabah mining, etc.
UEC? Sarawak has done it without DAP.
Meritocracy? Sarawak has done it as well.
Free education? Sarawak has done it whilst they are still trying to tok about matriculation vs STPM and blame MCA for UTAR/TARUC
MKS Raub? The left the farmers stranded after fighting with them against the Pahang company
What else can they fight for? Green wave? Last I see, Anwar is more green wave than PUAS.

Well, someone in X pointed out that during Bossku, there is no SWATCH case for LGBT, the raid on the health centre, etc… and likely that Fahmi Reza is not having ratings with police so often.

I do not have the statistics so, read this with an open mind. I am not trying to influence you against Anwar or for you to support bossku.

Instead of saying the obvious, he should tell us what's their plan to woo the Chinese's vote. Oh wai they don't.

PN might win next GE but it won't be due to Chinese vote, at best it's due to Chinese choose to sleep at home instead of spending hundreds to go back home town to vote.

Those claiming that the Chinese tsunami caused the defeat of DAP in the recent Sabah state election, prophesying DAP wipeout in the General Election should ask what was the option for Chinese voters in Sabah and what choice does the Chinese in the peninsula have.

In Sabah, the contest in the eight seats was between DAP against Warisan. In the peninsula, the choice for the Chinese will be between DAP and Perikatan Nasional (PN). In simple language, the choice for the Chinese is either to choose the secular DAP or the theocratic PAS. Not choosing either is again not an option, and by default the winner could be PAS.

The Chinese understandably angry and disenchanted with both Pakatan Harapan in general and DAP specifically, should ask themselves if they are willing to vote the alternative and welcome a theocratic PAS federal government.

The Chinese in Sabah hedged the bets with Warisan thinking it will be the winner. They lost. But the GRS state government remain secular. Will the Chinese in the peninsula want to take a gamble with PAS, when a winning PAS will mean a theocratic federal government and life under PAS. Anything but DAP can only mean PAS.

Chinese should ponder if it is still worth the risk, voting the alternative to DAP.

Next GE PHBN will mostly likely together so in rural area without PuAS the winner will be either BN/PH or PN so no Bersatu not going to be wiped out unless you think UMNO/PKR/Amanah is any better than them

This fear-mongering rhetoric won't work with the cinis again, especially upcoming election.

But the write up is not wrong

In East Malaysia, the trend now is say no to West Malaysia parties

In West Malaysia, you say no to Rocket, you vote who? Don't say you boycott because that is most stupid action and then regret because PN become government

They simply don't come out and vote.
They don't care who's the government anymore. The old rhetoric of oh no, 'PAS gonna take away everything from you', not gonna work anymore, because PH-DAP has already taken many things they held precious.

i wanted to share my experience in witnessing how certain things unfolded vs what the press painted in the news media regarding a topic that's foreign to some, but extremely impactful to the community.

but heck, i deleted all of them shortly after. i feel so damn unsafe.

i go dinner now. fuck it. no point risking the gestapos kicking my door at 3am

Well its very obvious isn't it? This should serve as a wake up call to PH to not take the Chinese for granted.

It's nothing to do with taking the Chinese for granted. What can be given to the Chinese exactly? Nothing. N nothing is expected. Just want the fakers to run the countries properly. See gst dun want reintroduced n give so many confusing SST confusing the fak of businesses. Tax naik naik naik for what so can donate to Falestine n increase budget for JAKIM?
Give RM100 to the king the queen billionaire n millionaire n brag about it.

Then petrol subsidy also theme giving to everyone

You are falling into politician trap again and again and never learn. They are saying that to gain your vote. Nothing personal.

If DAP says UMNO is super bad before election and then immediately turn around to work with UMNO, what make you think they wouldn't work with PAS after the election? Use your brain pls.
