No big deal. Crucial is the retail arm for Micron just as Klevv is a retail arm for SK Hynix.
Micron will continue to produce ram chips and nand flash still because servers use the same thing as consumer range stuffs , just with slightly different packaging.

My m4 128gb MLC still working as of today.. Those were the days that TLC is deemed as lower grade, while nowadays it's QLC.

And, my cs900 1tb that i used for 3 years sudah broken.

More like, for today, any DRAMless SSD is low grade regardless of TLC or QLC. Its just that QLC is the super bottom of the barrel.

Sk hynix, Samsung and Micron? Where Sandisk, Kioxia and Adata?
*
Western Digital owns Sandisk .
Kioxia is Toshiba
Both of them produce their own NAND flash to make SSD.

Adata is just an assembler like Kingston and Corsair. They buy every component from 3rd party , assemble them to make SSD and RAM to sell to consumers. They dont make their own critical components at all.

So Sandisk, Kioxia and Adata do not manufacture DRAM chips.

already saved me. bought brand new WALRAM ddr3 sticks a few months ago when I couldnt find any reasonably priced ram on shopee that wasnt obviously used. also for GPU you can see more and more china brands taking over established brands for those older legacy types (for eg COLORFUL).
FYI

The RAM sticks/PCB may be new. But the DRAM chips themselves are likely refurbished. FYI, Samsung and Hynix ceased production of DDR3 in 2023 and 2024.
The markings of DRAM chips can be redone easily during refurbish process. That is common practice by china companies.
