Think I am gonna blame the management since that area is easily accessible with just a leap and can easily give you false sense of security.

Irony is that if no net blocking the view, one would not even think of jumping as they probably can see way down below (and the pickle ball wouldn't even land on top of the net in the first place.)

Either net up the whole area high up or don't put anything at all, just let those pickleball fly down.

He jumped like here I go, weeee!

Darwin Brain, no matter what common sense dont jump over a rail, and it’s 3rd floor.

For sure he don’t have spider tingling telling him it’s dangerous to do that

To perform such a stunt without rehearsals and double stuntmans, he was already a hero..

got one video at mall where mall use plaster board to cover up the gap but the person stepped on it thinking that it is solid

so if visibility is poor or affected by strenuous exercise, the net could look like a steel mesh platform rather than something loose

the smart thing for designers would be to raise the net to top of railing height

Apparently this is a picture of the gap.

At first look, it does seem like the metal gauze, i.e. solid.

Pretty sure some people are going to get into trouble here.

And the railing itself covered by banner, so the only way to retrieve the ball is by.....unless you have very long arms...

Like i said, the net caused more trouble than solving.
