the $$$$$ in the datacenter , is 95% imported hardware with tax waiver

building construction cheapo only. Cause it is practically a shell with basic stuff. Barely occupied daily as well so amenities like parking and office space , all bare minimum only.

hardware installation cheapo also cause easy install stuff

software installation, cheapo also cause copy paste saja.

plus all the discount for water and electricity, actual benefit to taxpayer is .......

of that RM40 billion, i'll say RM39.2 billion is hardware imported.

The rest RM800 million, can build shells of 8 data centers already.

Nowdays warehouse standard also enuf for data centers

the cost of any infra upgrades will be paid by the data center owner so its a win for malaysia, IMO.
in terms of total number of data centers, malaysia isnt even in the top 10 globally so we should be trying to further encourage more investments from these companies.
