QUOTE(atilla @ Dec 3 2025, 09:18 AM) Anyone using TN1000 compatible (not original) toners and are they good and not facing issues like leaking? So far, I used compatible toner TN1000, it's OK. No major issues... Sometimes, problem is due to DRUM. If the printing is not good, have to change the DRUM unit too. |

The DR1000 drum is rated for 10,000 pages so does it last that long in your experience when using non-original toners?Sometimes, problem is due to DRUM. It really depends... For compatible toners of 2K, means every 5 times change toners, have to change one time drum unit. From my experience, because I'm using DCP-1610W, paper is pull into the printer at the bottom area. Always ensure the paper is clean without any dust or foreign waste (like thrown staples...), because if the foreign dust follow the paper into the printer, it will scratch, stick and damage the drum unit. |

I'm using Brother HL1110. printout normally becomes like this - marks running vertically down. was told that it is dirty drum. I think I have changed the drum before, but becomes like this again.Sometimes, problem is due to DRUM. If the printing is not good, have to change the DRUM unit too. ![]() |
